Viviana Cordoba

U.S. Army 1999–2008


Viviana Cordoba joined the Army in 1999 because she wanted to travel and be part of the Army lifestyle. As a member of the Reserves, she worked in patient administration. In 2005, she was deployed as part of a medical unit to Iraq, where she helped report battlefield experiences to Army medical personnel. She returned to the U.S. in 2006; after her discharge, she began working with veterans organizations, including the Massachusetts Women’s Veterans Network. The video was recorded at Framingham Access TV in November 2012, and highlights the Network and its programs.
